Every child has a right to belong and thrive

At Rolle House we provide therapeutic trauma informed care to our children, specifically tailored to each of our children’s needs. For each child we ensure specific training, approaches and management to and of their needs. We utilise a PACE approach; Plafullness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy. We also utilise Thrive as guidance to understand how better to support emotional development in our children and to record progress of this. Our main focus is on developing nurturing and trusting relationships with those in our care in order to support our children’s social and emotional wellbeing and empower them. Our main goal is for children and young people to lead a fulfilling life.

The model is based on core values which are reflected throughout practice in the home. Being trauma informed we understand behaviours of the children within our care and ensure that our tailored care and approach to supporting them is reflective of this.
